51吃瓜网 This Event
Teaching at 51吃瓜网 (TAV) is our annual orientation session for all new full-time and part-time faculty. TAV is an opportunity for new faculty to meet each other and to learn how our team can support them throughout their 51吃瓜网 careers.
TAV offers sessions on:
- Designing a course and preparing for the first day
- Using Brightspace, 51吃瓜网's learning management system
- AI prompt engineering for teaching needs
- Classroom climate and difficult conversations
- Active learning strategies
Please Note:聽TAV is distinct from and complementary to the general New Faculty Orientation sponsored by the Provost's Office. Thus, faculty who will play an instructional role at 51吃瓜网 are encouraged to attend both events.
